With over 30 years of experience as a professional independent financial advisor under his belt, Russ brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his clientele. As a passionate believer in the planning process, Russ has a particular focus and expertise in the areas of Estate Planning, Retirement Planning, as well as Tax Efficient Planning with medical professionals and corporate owners. Early in his career Russ recognized the importance of specialized education and achieved his Certified Financial Planner designation in 2000.
Strongly devoted to the integrity and growth of his profession, Russ volunteered for many years with Advocis which is the oldest and largest membership association of financial advisors and planners in Canada. This culminated in Russ’s becoming president of the Calgary chapter from 2010 through 2011. Russ’s belief in in giving back to the community led him to become a volunteer with the Calgary Stampede in 2011. In addition, he became a volunteer with the Veterans Food Bank of Calgary in 2022, premised on recognizing the sacrifices our veterans have made on our behalf.
